exceptional 60 reg Triumph Bonneville 865 Se, 4056 miles only from new and fitted with many, many extras
The bike has had two previous owners.
The bike has been modified in multiple ways to improve on the original aesthetically and performance wise, however all he original parts come with the bike to revert back to standard if you wish.
To remove some weight and release that glorious Bonnie sound are fitted a set of TEC ‘Sprint’ 2-2 short stainless full exhaust system, and removed all the air injector attachments (all retained) and fitted a Triumph Twin Power Stage 1 tune kit including DNA filter and air box adaptor plate and remap. This allows the bike to breathe much easier rev cleaner and provide a slight increase in power. Certainly more rideable than standard.
The bike originally came with a King and Queen Seat and sissy bar fitted (removed and kept) which have been replaced with standard twin seat and grab rail adjustable clutch and brake levers and alloy front brake fluid reservoir. Some other changes have been made including,
Rear end: Motone rear Lucas type light, loom and bracket kit, Motone Custom Billet Indicator Turn Signals Black and fitting brackets, Motone Triumph Turn Signal Wiring Adapters, TEC Alloy Piggyback Type Gas Shocks with 15 way Adjustable Damping and Adjustable Length, Genuine Chrome chain guard and Replacement Metzler ME2 tyre.
Front end: EBC floating brake disc, Pretech 6 pot caliper, longer Vesrah black brake hose, TEC progressive fork springs kit to fit Bonneville SE, Genuine black Fork Gaiters, TEC Alloy 28.3mm Handlebar Clamps and FAT BAR (22mm at control ends size ) handlebars, Motone Triumph Turn Signal Wiring Adapters, Motone H4 headlight module – battery saver /safe start, Motone Custom Billet Indicator Turn Signals Black, Motone raised Dash Speedo/Tacho Clock Mount + Ignition Relocation Bracket – VDO, Genuine grips and black end bar weights. TEC left hand fit alloy adjustable steering damper kit available (not fitted).
Engine: Genuine Triumph Chrome cam cover kit fitted with new gasket and bolts, Genuine Triumph “carb” tops, oil filler cap and choke lever fitted, oil and genuine oil filter fitted prior to MOT. New YUASA battery(£60) . The engine starts on the button and runs and revs very cleanly. The bike comes with a centre stand and mounts although not fitted.
Tyres: both tyres in excellent condition, back tyre nearly new.
We also have a “Monza ” style fuel cap and various other upgrade parts available which will go with the bike.
Standard parts: Complete standard exhaust system, Front indicators, fork springs and spacers, original front disc and twin pot caliper, various brake hoses, standard handlebars and clamps, 7/8 inch Western bars and Beston type grips, extended throttle cables for Western bar fitment, speed and rev counter bracket, original brake reservoir, Original cam cover and gasket/bolts, “carb” tops, oil cap and Choke pull, ignition bracket, air filter airbox cover, air kit fittings and sensors, genuine triumph sissy bar and a King and Queen Seat, original black chain guard, rear light and indicators, original mirrors and fork protectors.
There it is, a great bike in exceptional condition in the best colour for these SE’s in our opinion.
It hasn’t been heavily modified just improved on.
